A quasi-experiment was conducted using long-term participants in low-and high-level group task pressure treatments. Following treatment, participants rated email and face-to-face communication effectiveness on four task dimensions based on the well-known McGrath group task circumplex. Significant effects were found between treatments and among task dimensions, suggesting a number of implications for both practice and research.entime pressurerewardtask importancecomputer-mediated communicationemailgroup task pressurepunishmentEffects of Group Task Pressure on Perceptions of Email and Face-to-Face Communication Effectiveness10.1145/500286.500326
