However, one of the fundamental.processes that occurs when people work together is that of information sharing. This paper suggests that a complete model of cooperative work would benefit from explicitly incorporating the concept of information sharing. It is proposed that this can be achieved by including information dorliains in such a model. Two projects (IviacAll II and AIvlIGO MHS+) that have addressed this issue to a limited extent are outlined and compared. Finally, four areas of consideration are identified and discussed, and areas for further research are highlighted.enText
