In order to investigate this phenomenon, Orlikowski (2000) develops a coherent and structured framework that can be used to analyse the reasons why actors develop such different uses for a given technology. While our paper is based on her theoretical propositions for analysing uses, it seeks to extend it by integrating both the spirit of the technology and the interactions between individuals and artefacts (2.).
